    - Responsible for creating content for elementary to high schoolers. including PowerPoint presentations, interactive activities, and videos

    - Create content ranging from aerospace or technical topics like the solar system and rocketry to advice for picking a major and applying to colleges

    Pursuing STEM in Silence: Biographies of Six Deaf Scientists

     

    - Investigated the difficulties that deaf people experience when they pursue science by analyzing biographies of 6 scientists from Europe, the USA, and China to extract lessons for deaf people in pursuit of a STEM career

    - Researched resources such as news articles, interview videos, and archives to collect stories of these six scientists

    - Analyzed their difficulties in life experiences from the aspects of physical hindrance (how to take in information and output ideas) and discrimination and summarized the reasons for their achieving success

    - Created a website to advocate for deaf people to pursue STEM careers and to encourage social awareness and support for the deaf population

    AstroKids – Children’s Astronomical Science EducationProgram

     

    - Designed an introductory science course to expose primary school students to astronomy

    - Taught children step by step how to use a telescope and made an instructive poster to guide children on making “Nebular Jars”

    - Implemented the course in the community and the school's local surrounding schools for 50+ migrant children

    Original Picture Book: Starry Skies and The Light Thief

     

    - Collaborated with a student illustrator from Huili Hangzhou School to create a 16-page scientific picture book aiming to educate kids about light pollution

    - Will be printed out to send to children in Astrokids
